(Spoilers) Fallout 4: Stuff I Found, Part 3

***SPOILER WARNING: Spoilers may be found in the post below about VARIOUS ITEMS. And I'm going to add in a bit of filler text here to limit how much of the main article gets shown in a preview. That should take care of most of it. Hopefully. And away we go. SPOILER WARNING. ***

Not going to say how many hours I've put in at this point, but I have a level 70 character so... Anyway, it's been a few weeks and I've seen a lot more stuff. That has, unfortunately, included more than a bug or two that I had to try to get around with the help of the internet, and trial and error.

Milton General Hospital
I think this was part of the Silver Shroud series of quests. My first dozen attempts at trying to save Kent Connolly resulted in failure the moment I entered Milton General Hospital. The catch, apparently, was that I couldn't have power armor on. Further research suggested that it was because of one specific mod I made to my power armor's helmet: Targeting HUD. The one that turns everything "alive" red. Taking off the helmet or swapping to one without the mod allowed me to enter the hospital with power armor without immediately failing. I actually tried leaving my power armor outside Milton and donning the Silver Shroud costume, and it seemed to work.

And then I started immediately failing the Kent Connolly rescue quest once I got past a certain point. It was something like the second elevator, the point at which the hospital's protectrons started fighting the Raiders. With power armor on and a jetpack, I managed to take a shortcut through a ceiling and bypass the elevators. Again, once I got past a certain boundary, the protectron versus Raider fight triggered, and I failed the Kent quest.

Some online research suggested using Jet to slow time and making a mad dash for the last elevator down to Kent -- it was just down the hall from where I went through the ceiling. Instead, a good hour was spent using Jet to try to take care of all the Raiders and protectrons. The goal was to try to avoid alerting the people guarding Kent. This failed every single time.

What eventually worked was just assigning Jet to a hotkey, mashing it, and making a mad dash to the final elevator to confront Kent's guards. That, the best weapons in the Commonwealth, VATS, and a level 60-ish character finished the job.

Not Quite?
While I did manage to finish the quest, research suggested that I missed a lot of dialogue. There was supposed to be dialogue between Kent Connolly's captors and the player before a final confrontation. The mad dash bypassed all of it and some more interesting resolution options.

Potential Issues
I had previously cleared out Milton General Hospital before the quest. Not sure if the previous visit caused some of the problems.
