Dear Diary,
I didn't use a strainer and thought it'd be a good idea to drain pasta out of a pot by tipping it completely on its side. There was a wooden spoon to try to hold it back in case anything fell. No, it didn't really surprise me when a third of it fell into the sink.
Shaving today was a reminder of why I hate long facial hair: it's a pain, literally, to shave off with lots and lots of pulling, even with a brand new razor blade. Maybe that's why I kept it very short for the past decade... And now, my face is burning.
I missed the first half hour of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End AGAIN on television. It's an entertaining movie, but not enough for me to want to buy or rent because I've seen the movie a bunch of times already from an hour in onwards -- that and I'm cheap. The same thing happened with Lost in Translation. Saw that one half a dozen times on television before finally catching the first hour.
Couldn't help but notice that the bass player on the Late Late Show with James Corden looks a lot like Ygritte (Rose Leslie) from Game of Thrones. And the Congresswoman on The Walking Dead reminds me a lot of Captain Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) from Star Trek: Voyager.
That is all.
For now.
