Fruttare Banana & Milk Popsicles Review

Recently I stumbled upon a new-to-me dessert product at the supermarket in the form of popsicles. What I've been told is that they're new, but I can't confirm nor do I care enough to look it up.

Fruttare Banana & Milk
Long story short, they're good and I like them. I picked up a four-pack of these popsicle bars in banana and milk. They were on sale for CAD$ 4.99 with a normal price at that particular store of CAD$ 5.99. I want to say they're expensive, then I remind myself that I blow $2 on coffee or some other beverage almost daily. The website suggests that the bars also come in strawberry, peach, coconut, mango, and strawberry.

Taste and Texture
What I found unique about the bars I had was that they actually tasted "fruity" and it wasn't just a random artificial flavor from a regular popsicle. Unlike regular frozen popsicles, these did not appear completely frozen and were creamy. The three I had (glutton) came out of the freezer solid, but soft and easy to bite into. They didn't freeze into a solid block of ice. I used to take regular popsicles out of the freezer, break them into a bowl, mash everything up with a spoon, and create a bowl of slush. It doesn't appear possible to do that with these. There's a good chance that I'd make ice cream if I did that.

Nutrition
According to the fruttare.ca website, one bar is 80 ml and contains 110 calories. No trans fat is noted, and there's some Calcium, and other things. Nothing I would really write home about.

Overall
I like the banana and milk version a lot. The coconut and milk flavor is probably my next stop.
