Dear Diary,
Impressed by how well TV shows disguise the fact that they're not filmed where they're fictionally based. Most effective method that works on me is the use of flyover shots of the fictional city between every major scene change.
Found a relatively cheap smoke detector that takes AA batteries instead of 9 volt batteries. Would love to switch over to those to avoid having to buy 9 volt batteries. Too bad the alarms I have don't expire for a couple years.
Went to order another package of the pens I like and found out that I you could buy ink refills for less than half of the cost of a new package. Sigh. Already threw out one of the pens that ran out of ink. I should be more shocked that I didn't even bother to look for refills, but I used pencils from K-12 through to post-secondary.
Been using a Gillette Fusion razor for the past few months and it's almost time to change blades but I'm out. Need to buy more Fusions, but I have a couple Mach3 blades left. I don't want to go back but don't want to waste them so feel compelled to use the rest. Woe is me.
Ugh, spider showed up in the room I'm in a few days ago and it hasn't left. Not looking forward to the mess of spider webs all over the room -- I've already had to pick some random strands off the furniture that I couldn't ignore. Where's that huge house centipede I saw running around for weeks that I left alone for pest control purposes...
Song I love has a 30 second-ish gap of silence at the end of it. Makes it annoying having to wait 30 seconds before I can loop it again... and again... and again.
Hadn't gone shopping online at a particular store in a very long time -- partly because I feel too old for it -- because it didn't have online shopping even after most other stores I visited did. Behold, they had online shopping when I checked recently. What an exciting story.
Later.
