Night Sky on a Cloudy Night? |
Apparently, one of the first things one does with an infrared camera is to take it outside and point it at the sky. I completely missed that boat by months and months. Finally, it is here though -- not completely, but a start. The camera didn't go outside. This was shot through a screen door so the quality is ever so slightly worse. Too hard to take the camera outside along with a laptop to do the actual recording. That and overly curious neighbors.
This is the camera looking outside to, I think, a cloudy night sky. It's the city so very few stars are visible on a clear night, which means it's hard to tell by just looking out. The moon was also probably facing another direction. The tall buildings usually visible from this angle aren't seen here. Not sure if it's the clouds, haze, or what. Good thing I didn't go into astronomy or something weather related.
Reminder: Temperatures are not accurate.
